We email you a sign-in link, then you add a card: nothing is charged for 7 days, and we email you two days before the first charge. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing; the account goes read-only and nothing is deleted.
What the plan means in practice
What counts as a site?
One hostname, checked at one page (usually the home page). www.example.com and example.com are the same site when one redirects to the other; a client's blog on a separate subdomain is a second site.
What happens when the trial ends?
If you keep it, Pro starts at the price you chose and your card is charged; we email you two days before. If you cancel before the trial ends, nothing is charged and your account goes read-only. Nothing is deleted: your sites, history and settings stay as they were, and daily checks pause until you subscribe. Subscribe later and they resume.
What does "locked for life" mean for founding spots?
The price you claimed never rises while the subscription stays active. Cancel and come back later and the normal price applies. Founding tiers are monthly, start at $9, and fill in order, one spot per account.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from the billing page. Access runs to the end of the period you paid for. The refund policy has the details.
What does "fair use" mean for instant checks?
Run as many manual checks as your work needs. The bot's politeness rules (one request at a time per host, two to three seconds apart) are the real limit; a plan is not a licence to hammer someone else's server.
