Compare two sites: the same fourteen checks, side by side

Your site against a competitor's, or the old site against the new one. We check both from outside at the same moment, the way a crawler sees them, and show every check next to its twin with both AI readiness scores.

Requests are sent as QuietwatchBot, never as another bot. A compare counts as two of the 5 free checks an hour per address.

What does the compare show?

Two columns, one per site, fourteen rows: bot access, AI crawlers, HTTP status, time to first byte, structured data, content without JavaScript, indexability, citation readiness, agentic commerce, sitemap, llms.txt, the TLS certificate, domain registration and secrets in JavaScript. Each row shows both states and both values, and marks which side is ahead. Above the table, both AI readiness scores with the same published formula every result page uses.

How is each side checked?

Exactly as the free checker on the home page checks one site: from outside, over HTTP, with our own User-Agent, robots.txt obeyed on every host. Both runs start at the same moment, so what you see is a fair snapshot, not two visits a day apart.

Use it forWhat to look at
A pitch to a prospectTheir site against the one you built: which crawlers each lets in, who has structured data, who is readable without JavaScript
Before and after a migrationThe old hostname against the new one: indexability, the sitemap, the certificate and the redirects
Two of your own client sitesWhy one gets cited by assistants and the other does not: content without JavaScript, citation readiness, llms.txt

How to use it

  1. Paste the two addresses, home pages or the same page type on both sites, and press Compare.
  2. Read the two scores first, then the rows marked as ahead; open either full result for the evidence and the fix lines.
  3. Keep the link; it works for 30 days and shows the two runs as they were.

Questions

Are both sites checked at the same time?

Yes. Both runs start the moment you press Compare and run in parallel from the same place, so the snapshot is fair. A check that takes longer on one site simply lands later.

Does a compare count against the free limit?

It counts as two of the 5 free checks an hour per address, one per site.

Can I compare two pages of the same site?

Yes: paste two addresses on the same host, for example the home page and the pricing page, and the rows show where they differ.

Why does one side say unknown?

That check could not run on that site: the page did not answer, robots.txt keeps our crawler out, or the registry does not publish a date. The full result explains each one.

Is the AI readiness score the same one as on a single result?

Yes, the same six weighted checks and the same formula, published on the checks page. The compare just shows two of them next to each other.
